Under the Bowl Championship Series, college football's "have-nots" get less BCS money even when they outperform others on the field and in the marketplace. That's what is wrong with the BCS revenue-distribution scheme: It's Fixed.

  • @OldSouthernSoldier Yeah. And are you going to explain why this video is "FULL OF CRAP" or are you just going to make another whimsical, senseless rant?

  • This video is a load of crap. The BCS did not cause the money disparity. I have shocking news for you. The SEC and Big 10 schools have ALWAYS made more money than the WAC and MWC. The best thing that ever happened to the little schools was the BCS. Tell me when Utah or Boise or TCU played in the the Sugar or Rose bowl before the BCS. The little schools better pray to God that the BCS does not dissolve.

  • I contend that the championship game was fixed and Auburn won because the money wanted them to win. Numerous dirty plays by Auburn ignored. Interception by Oregon ruled "no possession" when the ball was in Ore. player's hand and did not bobble.

  • the system is fixed for certain conferences to get an advantage regardless if they play a cupcake schedule....the conference presidents are a cartel and they know that if they go into having a playoff they will have to share the money...schools are losing money when they go to bcs games they are not seeing an increase....its a scam.

  • Well done!

  • Money distribution =/= fixed. Fixed implies the results of games are being manipulated behind the scenes. Generally you get out money relative what you put in. Teams that suck should be lucky the system gives them anything. Why should Vanderbilt get money because Florida is awesome? Why should Idaho get money because Boise State runs a great program?

  • The 2010 Orange Bowl was Iowa vs. Georgia Tech, not Georgia. That would explain the attendance lag, fans of the Bulldogs actually go to their bowl games, especially BCS games.
