AC/DC - The Bedrock Of Riff [Let There Be Rock] [DVD:Special Features] 2011
"DVD : Special Features" : Musicians,Music Historians and Jornalist Blow the Lid off AC/DC and Why It's Endured.

The only movie powered by AC/DC. This legendary concert film, covering a 1979 Paris concert during the Australian heavy metal band's "Highway To Hell" tour showcases the power and precision that the quintet bring to vicious rockers like "Whole Lotta Rosie" and "Let There Be Rock." Pixieish lead guitarist Angus Young, attired in his trademark school-boy's uniform, takes center stage with his energetic antics and frenetic solos, while the rest of the band crank out their minimalist boogie with quiet determination. Interview segments and humorous backstage footage show another side to the thuggish musicians, especially AC/DC's flamboyant lead singer Bon Scott, who died two months after this filmed concert

  • What's with this shitty riff? A thing about ac/dc, who have the greatest riffs ever, and we get this stock library riff?!

  • I work with kids from age 6 to 12. Every single one of them loves AC/DC. Zeppelin was too messy, Pink Floyd too complex, Deep Purple too noisy, Black Sabbath too angry, but they all agreed that AC/DC was flawless. There is nothing more honest than a drunk guy or a kid. So if they say it, it's the truth!

  • I adore AC/DC but this is just rediculus. These people idolize the band like they are the only single best band out there. Sorry but I just resent the statement "just try and play let there be rock on drums". We have a drummer that's 18 years old and he just kills on this song. Nowhere near do you see his potential until he plays this song and I find most of these comments silly. If we were talking about the foo fighters you'd get the same statements, this is just media crap.

  • 4 on the floor, less is always more.

  • Anthony Bozza? please... couldn't they have just kept the comments to Lemmy, who are these other fanatics/ AC?DC scholars. Go listen to the records, we all know how great they are, does hearing Billy say so make anyone go "oh yeah, you're right Billy, AC/DC is really good, now that you mention it." Who grows up wanting to be a rock journalist, these people would use the same language to talk about any band they're into or appearing on video for. Everything is the "most", not a sport! it's music

  • \m/ Scott Ian \m/ Yeahh!!! The guy is in every documentary!!! AnthraX!!!!!!!

  • I dared my friend to play the rhythm part to Jailbreak Live. The next day, he came back angry at me. He said, "Dammit man! I thought I had this thing down! But you had to show me that I haven't even gotten started!" He told me he got confused during the solo, as I had expected.

  • Phil Rudd = The most criminally underrated drummer in rock history! He kicks major ass!

  • @TheBrowling youre right man.. im still sitting here writing a comment.. DAMN IM STUPID.

  • Billy Corgan? really?
