I think the key to enjoying Moffat and Smith's Doctor Who will be to not expect it to surpass The last 5 Years. ats least not straight away. It would b kinda unfair 2 expect thier 1st series finale to b bigger than the Endo f Time or even Journey's End. Let them start small again with a fresh start and build up once more (although Doomsday was bigger than The Parting of the Ways but ho-hum)

@227060 RTD's scripts have been dire, especially Journey's End and The End of Time was so lacking in plot it was untrue - in both cases they just threw a mish-mash of nonsense together. Moffat is going to blow every Who fan's mind - just look at Blink, The Empty Child, Girl in the Fireplace and Silence in the Library.

It'll be superb now that Moffat is in charge and we haven't got RTD and his godawful scripts and his interfering in everyone's scripts while he was in control.

RTD must've thought he was writing for Duncan Norvelle, given the content of his scripts(!)

@DoctorWhoDom RTD absolutely sucked! The end of time nullified it's own theory. If the Doctor says multiverses exist, Davros' plan was to end every Universe, then in at least ONE universe, Davros' plan would have succeeded, and the universe that we were watching would have ended! Jesus fucking christ... :|

Meanwhile the Big Bang 2 story was EPIC, the best Doctor Who finale in a long while, best of the 2005+ series by far. So glad RTD is gone.
