Helpless

So...my first video uploaded onto YouTube. I made sure it had a meaning to me. And it does, deaf people (I'm a Kid of Deaf adults aka KODA) and September 11.

This project sort of turned into a Public Service Announcement by accident. The point to the project was to match a narrative and music to a word, mine is 'Helpless'. This is one of the latest projects I finished. I know I am not dressed the right way for a Chef, the Culinary Class wouldn't give me the entire uniform.

I know I did not create this peice of music. As it states in the Fair Use Act, I can use copyrighted music for EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. And September 11 clips/ pictures are in the Public Domain.

Oh! I forgot to add one more person in the 'Special thanks'. My brother, who was the second deaf person (me and my brother are not deaf, just KODAs).

This is a story that has been passed around the deaf community. A deaf chef was working in a resturant beside the towers and when the planes hit, he didn't notice all that much, thinking it was nothing (the light flickering, I'm not sure that really happened). Then, as he realized people were panicking for some reason, he became suspisious and tried to ask what was going on and thats when his boss got his attention and pulled him out before the building collapsed. BUT, my character died in this due to how much time I had to shoot the kitchen scene.

I shot in Baltimore for the 'NYC' scenes.

I would LOVE some critque, good or bad, I dont care! (Critique, I mean filmming wise, I know the plot and narrative was not all that set up well).

theyu should have plans for us in need because im severe deaf, i would have know something was wrong, but i wouldnt know what was go wrong and alot of times i am miss out on alot of things because people forget to help the people like me need help or fill us in information.

this was a cool video i hope you make another one soon

This makes deaf people look stupid, my parents are deaf and they could see if something wrong is happening, they are not just going to stand there while everyone else is running, its common sense, for the blind they could hear if something is happening if you are both blind and deaf then someone should have helped.

Were you a victim of 9/11??? That's true that they should make plan(s) for us deafs, blinds, and wheelchair people in case of emergency.
