The problem with Jim Ross is that every show he announced on suddenly became the best wrestling, most important match, etc, be it Mid South NWA or even WWE.Over hyping

Solie and Lance Russell were way better in my opinion

@toohotscorpio That was his job. Just about every announcer on every wrestling show did something along those lines. Used to annoy me as a kid when people all over would say they were the best in wrestling but no groups would go together to find out who really was the best! lol

@toohotscorpio I agree with you whole heartly.Jim Ross isn't the scab on Gordon Solie or Lance Russell's ass.Gordon Solie is the best Wrestling announcer period and Lance Russell is 2nd.After those 2 legends let the debate begin.

I was lucky enough to see Harley Race back in his title days and he was what every single wrestler today wishes they were...The guy could give you a show unlike a lot of guys today without all the flash...the man was all business when he got in the ring and he could sell it and give it out with the best of them...Thanks for posting this..Great memories

@retawdee dude. do u know 4 a FACT that its a perm? now granted Harley had a different hairstyle b4 this one(he was blond)but even in the 80s & 90s(when he managed vader)his hair was basically this texture. would u have a problem if he did have black in his ancestry? cuz u sound a little offended.

@truaswad Dude, It's called a perm. They were very popular back in the 70's. Any non black person could go to a salon and get one. Robert Reed (who played the father on the Brady Bunch) got one.

Harley f-n Race beeeaatch!!! Looking at harleys hair I would say he's got some black ppl in his immediate ancestry. His hair is VERY wooly 4 a Caucasian. I could c Harley leading a horsemen-like group as NWA world champion. The question is who? Hmmmm...
