On April 12, 1968 ~ my 21st birthday party ~ my wonderful friends @ the time (Terry, Dennis, Phil, Mad Dog) and I ~ played this song before a crowd of about 80 people. I'm homeless now, and lost on this world @ 62 years of age ~ but I will tell you how happy I once was ..... I truely was older then and, sadly, younger than that now...........

leaving the g's off just because dylan does would be contrived and sophomoric, and would insult the universal greatness of dylan's writing and Joan's gift of her own artistry in one single gesture.
