@YourSkyliner The Constitution was meant to protect our God-given Natural Rights.
The Weimar Constitution had fundamental differences with The U.S. Constitution. There is no provision for so-called 'emergency powers' in our founding documents.
If you would like to look through a window into the souls of some great men, read 'The Federalist Papers' which were part of the debate at our founding.

I love Sarah, and everything she says.
I am an electrical engineering consultant.
I design jet engine starter/generator electronics, missile and aircraft power supplies, and battery chargers.
I love hunting and gunsmithing.
I am practical.
I have liberal friends that write poetry, make sculptures, and paintings.
They are aesthetic.
Sarah appeals to people like me. My liberal friends hate her.
