Ah I Love that haha!
So VINTAGE

His Hey Baby in this show was spectacular. I made a video of it called 'Jimi's Cosmic Birth & Death' Its an inspiration.

I love this footage but the first time I saw it it was like watching his ghost. It takes your eyes a minute to figure out whats going on, then the color, lighting and extremely jumpy cuts make it ghostly in probably one of the last few videos of him shortly before he died. All in complete silence from The Man of sound. He looked to be in fine form though as the recordings confirm.

of all the bootlegs i have including the isle of wight until ronnie scotts club this show is by far the absolute best ever. he was bad in aarhus but if you think hendris was done n 70 you should listen to this show compltely. he is the best and always will be great post

My bad, you are quite correct - I should've double checked!

This footage shows that Jimi used the wite stratocaster during the first part and the black during the last part of the performance. The Gibson flying V was standing untouched back on the stage.

That's incorrect, he wears a different shirt! A more shiny and golden shirt in Berlin.
I've read the biography about Jimi from Charles Cross. This consert was one of the greatest Jime ever did in his last year of '70. Most of his consert's of that fall was poor due to his way of living.

'Poor' is such a relative term. I do not think anyone left disappointed from any of the many Hendrix concerts in 1970, except for the only two shows Jimi cut short due to lack of spirit that year. One being the day before the Copenhagen concert (in Aarhus, see the other 8 mm clip from that night), which may have lead Jimi to try the best he could during this night in Copenhagen. Kind of 'recompensating' for the lack of music the night before...
