X-CAB: my homemade mame cabinet

I always wanted my own arcade cabinet when I was younger, so when I discovered MAME I made it my mission to fullfill that dream. My goal was to make a cabinet that was reasonably sized, priced and very playable. This is the result: my X-CAB. It runs on a compaq pentium III that I bought for € 30,- with an X-arcade dual stick as the CP, a 17-inch TFT monitor that I had lying around, a bunch of MDF some foamboard, cardboard and a plate of plexiglass. I use MAME32FX and Mala as the front-end. It has about 250 roms installed. And for a total sum of aprox. € 300,- I am a happy gamer.

@imkindaDasH Xarcade is the way to go. If you the 2player setup is to much, get a 1player setup. I got mine for $130.00 BRAND NEW on ebay and I freaking love it! I got it in 2 days after I paid online for it.

Sorry man but that is just a desk with small modifications and a x-arcade control. At least drop the control down into the desk.
