This video clip shows the pre-race activities at the Portland Riverside Marina on Friday evening. You will see the rafts launched Friday afternoon the day before the race and the cooking contest held that evening. Many of the individuals in this video camp out over the weekend and turn their raft race experience into a weekend extravaganza.
