A club member maidens his CMP Katana 120 powered by a 26cc gas engine. The plane is a bit tail heavy in this video, otherwise, a very successful maiden.

  • MAM taką samą chcę ją zmontować z silnikiem DL 50. Twoja lata dobrze. Gratuluje udanego startu i Lądowania.

DL 50 może być za dużo dla tej płaszczyźnie. Coś w klasie 30cc powinien pociągnąć grzywny. Od widzisz DL 50, spojrzeć na DLE 30.or podobne.

  • Hi Which aircraft engine do you use ?

  • Not my plane. I'm not sure which engine he used in it. I do know that it's a 26cc gasoline engine.

  • I also bought a CMP Katana using a RCGF 26 cc gas engine. I almost crashed my plane on its maiden flight. The plane was very tail heavy. I didn't realize that I needed 32 ounces of weight at the nose with the CG at 120 mm from the leading edge of the wing. Any suggestions for my setup. I kept the elevator servos and rudder servos in the tail. Thanks.

  • This plane is not mine. The owner of it is about to move and already has shipped the plane to his new home. I may not get a chance to see him again to ask him about it. I think that he had to shift the battery/receiver forward, as well as add weight to the nose.

  • Super model. Rozbiłem taką podczas pierwszego startu.

  • Just had my CMPro Katana 140s maiden flight yesterday. Good flight but a very windy day. Just flew it one time. Needs more engine down thrust. My CMPro Magpie 50 did not fare so well in the wind. Engine died upwind of the runway. Had to land it with a strong tailwind so it came in hard. The body took a beating. Repairable, but not a one or two day job.

  • Impressive maiden. Cool.

  • formidable!! 5
