@DininDalael The U.S. military won ALL major battles in Vietnam. The military was successful but the U.S. los the political war at home. Russia and China are the bad guys. They are brutal and support tyrannical nations like Iran and N. Korea for example.

@canaryman69 I don't think you can stop it but I don't think they deal with marijuana correctly, I think it should be treated more like speeding tickets. If you get caught then you get a fine unless you have a considerable amount of the drug then you should be charged as a drug dealer possible jail time plus a fine. The problem with drugs in the USA is they affect everyone because so many people drive. People that I know do drugs it because they want to escape reality not because it's illegal.

I'd have to say that libertarian and conservatives become closer and closer every day. I personally don't believe in drugs for all, I know the statistics say pot is legal in the Netherlands not in the US and it is used more here and I am willing to compromise within practicality legalized pot. However, I do not want people driving on shrooms....Netherlands doesn't have that problem but we would.

Lets lower government involvement everything. Give kids X amount of $ and say pick a school.

@gajda1984 if you want to talk about industrialized nations. the U.S. spends the most money than the top 34 most industrialized nations on education and the U.S. students score at or near the bottom in EVERY category. I'm NOT talking about 3rd world countries dude, I'm talking about 1st world countries, you know, for instance, the USA, Canada, GB, France, Germany etc. etc. etc. yes, the USA has the highest level of crime, illiteracy, poverty, gap between classes, and crime. Marijauna is illegal in the USA and yet is abused a lot more here than it is in the Netherlands where it is legal.
