  • The Poles were denied their highly merited place in this parade because Britain's new Labour government did not want to antagonise their erstwhile ally the USSR and the now Communist government of Poland. Resentment at this injustice still festers - and most understandably so when you learn the contribution of Polish forces on land and in the air in Africa, Italy, France and Germany. Polish airmen shot down the most enemy planes in the Battle of Britain. I'm not Polish by the way.

  • Where are Poles, You Traitors??? !!!

  • Nothing has changed since 1946 but due to eventual withdrawal from Afghanistan it might be time to end NATO. After almost 4 generation or 70 years I believe the western Military alliance will likely become just an economic alliance instead.

  • @bazzatheblue @bazzatheblue To my knowledge, they used to live in Lwow. My direct family is technically from Cieszyn Silesia but there's a long back story as to how both families are related, ect... Today we aren't directly related but contact has been maintained through the generations.

I definitely agree that the subject of ethnic/national displacement is an interesting one.

  • @MichaeloApC Troll, ignore.

  • @LaserProductions100 where from,Lvov,Brest Litovsk?I am always interested in these times. It`s strange to think the population of Lvov now is not the same as 60 years ago,the same as the people living in Wroclaw now weren`t there then either, and all the Germans displaced from Pomerania,Silesia ,East Prussia, where do they all live now?!

  • @bazzatheblue *was* German. Soviets forced Polish population from east to western former German territories. Today it is a Polish city. I should know, i have family who was resettled there.

  • @MichaeloApC still german

  • @bazzatheblue Learn history about Breslau (from AD 1000) bitch ;]

  • @MichaeloApC you are from Breslau, isn`t that Germany?
