Fremont Police's overreaction to our "Take Back Our Rights" demonstration (March 26, 2011)

Partly because of the bad weather (and the need to wear jackets to protect from the rain and wind), up until this point of our "Take Back Our Rights" demonstration in Fremont, only one person was open carrying. In their infinite wisdom, the Fremont Police Department decided to respond by dispatching five patrol cars to our location. Of course, we were not doing anything illegal, so they left us alone after a few minutes. But the fact that the FPD decided to violate the rights of an open carrier at a "Take Back Our Rights" demonstration is especially ironic. I was also irritated by the fact that this happened in my hometown of Fremont. (Please see my response video to what transpired before this video began.)
