Second day at the motorcycle riding school. The instructor filmed us without letting us know, to analyze the cornering technique later. I borrowed the instructors bike, a Honda CBF 600.

  • It's been great 3 days of track riding in Croatia! I found the limits and it was good fun. On the third day I passed some liter sportbikes. Next time I'll have real slick tires, as the limit for the Michelin Pilot Power was 3-4 laps max before they got too hot. Still, I was not able to hang-off and drag knees. Either my leather was too tight or I'm a wussy. I guess second one is more true. Though I'm almost 2 meters long it's hard to bend over the tank and get my weight on the inside...

  • yeah I know, thanks. See, this vid is from 2006. Got decent riding skills by now. Will go on the track for 3 days in May to find out the limits of the bike...and mine.

  • Thanks, that's a great input. I have to remind though it was my first experience with a bike. Today I'm a pretty good rider, although I don't use the rear brake in public roads for corner stability. It's not that I drive "digital" with the throttle full on or off, specially in corners :-) Rather than braking, I ride with smooth throttle through the corners and hard braking and gear shifting _before_ the corner (even when making use of the slipper clutch)...think this is the safest bet.

  • Very smoth riding.... but you are very close to the shoulder of the road and this is where all the crap accumulates. Iv see a few come off riding too close to the shoulder like that.

  • horrible body position but great countersteering and even greater balls!!! :)

  • Tutto da rifare. Piega meno e spostati sulla sella.

  • the centerline is should be double orange color not white color dumb ass.

  • let go that brake in that turn

  • Hanging off a little would have reduced some of that lean angle, leaving a little lean in reserve for the unknown. Luckily, both tires and road surface were good. Otherwise, it might have turned nasty. Still, hat off to the rider; I'd call that brave cornering... Check out my own video "Smooth Cornering" by AntzBandit12 to see what I'm talking about. Enjoy riding all. :)

  • Scraping the pegs if you need to get that low to get round the bend but if your scraping youve hit the bend too fast really because the tyre is at its low end of grip and scraping lessens rear end grip even further, good road positioning but it would have been better without the scrape, good luck

  • if it sounded like a piece of shit........
