Whew that was heated. I dont think that people understand that the word "marriage"means a lot contractually. There are contracts that allow "married" couples to recieve certain benefits, if you are a domestic partnership or a civil union couple, you may be left out of certain insurance deals, home ownership and inheritance protections and certain tax loop holes. This is the reason why the word is so important. It is to avoid the shady behavior that so many Americans have already displayed.

Well, brother. (and I mean this genetically hehe.)
Whatever works for you. And if that's what works for you, then I'm happy for you. god bless. go forward.
BUt please do me favour. Don't forget to also clap yourself on the back for your acheivements. You might believe that there is some invisible force that helped you kick someone's ass in basket ball or whatever. But just remember one thing. YOU did this. No one else.
SO....
Take care man. Peace and love.

Sure. But we're talking about choice of a life of violence versus to a life of progressing in other ways, outside to knifing or shooting people to get money, or wallets, or whatever.
Like i said. I'm a white guy from a very poor background, from Poland. As you know I'm sure, when it comes to being poor on the street, the colour of your skin doesn't mean shit.
No one will most likely help you, other than your close ones, or your family. I got out successfully and progressed.

It matter not what weapon you dealt 'wit'. It's the attitude of the person with the intention of using various kinds of weapons. Sure, weapons are there to use as protection. We all know that any person would. But for the people who use the weapons to cause harm, or use them as a means leverage for their own benefit, THOSE are the people I'm talking about.
We all have a choice.

Um...horseshit! We all have choices. I also come from a VERY poor Polish backgroubd where knives were a massive issue in certain areas. I chose never to to get involved in this kind of world. I got out of it, moved on, and progresses as a human being.
We all make our choices, generally speaking.
Sorry dude. Not buying it.

@Domzdream well sorry some of us grow up in the ghettos and have to fight to survive sorry i wasnt born white in america! i was born in the ghettos of chicago and had to have a gun to survive a world ull never know homo!
One word.
Religion.
That is what keep getting in the way of modern morals. And morals in general, in the civilized world of today.
Eliminate religion, and people will then assess these things on their own accord and not what a book that's dated back in the BC written by desert dwellers telling stories around a campfire, tells them how to think.

Since Whoopi Goldberg said that Roman Polanski "didn't 'rape' rape that 13yr old girl", I no longer respect her opinion on _anything_
