This Jagdtiger was captured by the British in 1945. After the war was over the British military filmed this vehicle in action to study both the strong and weak points of its design.
if it werent for shitty final drives a transmissions German tanks would have been bigger problem than there already were, imagine a Panther as reliable as a T-34/85
@Schlittenfahrer93 Only two Pershings were KOed during WWII, one by a Tiger at 100 meters and one by a Nashrone at 300 meters. I don't think a Pershing and Jagdtiger ever engaged each other during WWII.
the only problem was armor near the cannon...the shells were hitting it at almost 90 degreds so even the 40mm bofors shell could enter the armor but it stoped cause of it tight...but four this shells near the same place...tank was demobilised...so it mean that one 105mm shell was able to destroy him by hitting in this armor
@TransAmDrifter M-26 was actually starting development around the same time as the Sherman, it just had, due to beauracratic nonsense, about the same development path as Duke Nukem Forever.

@redreaper2020 if allied tanks would be worth being legendary, then they would be such.

this tank killed a Pershing with a 4(!)km shot. The projectile went right through its hull and didn't stuck after this long distance.

@redreaper2020 yeah, but M26 was newer than Panther and developed using experience based upon german tanks.
