This is from one of my favorite holiday CD's "Ancient Noels" .

From the inside sleeve: Traditional carols, medieval cantigas and Renaissance dances bring to life images of desert landscapes and stone monasteries where the spirit of Christmas was born.

I'm posting this song because it's a lovely melody from the middle ages that gets little recognition today, performed beautifully by Maggie Sansone and Ensemble Galilei.
