I went skydiving over Monterey Bay on October 22, 2006...I jumped out of a plane at 15,000 feet. I was scared at first, but I had tons of fun and it was TOTALLY worth it! This video covers pre-jump to post-landing.

damn u would have to have ballz to jump out of a plane.. i think... im 13 yrs old and maybe when im like 25 yrs old i might IT REALLY LOOKS FUN though... i would really want to try it....

It's called a droge chute, it purpose is to pull out the main parachute when the instructor deploys at about 5,000ft (average tandem deployment height).

Awesome video! I don't know if you realize, but that guy is actually flying with you upside down for a while there, or head-down as this type of freeflying is called. Not the normal way to exit with a tandem in other words. That's why it's taking so long before he lets you stretch out your arms. I've got about 65 jumps and I haven't tried that yet.
