Akira has been in a downward spiral since VF3. The best VF5 Akira players always fall in tournaments. His VF5 weakness is his inability to reverse or evade circular attacks, not to mention his weakened moves. Gaurd Snapping in Final Showdown might be what brings Akira back to the top.
