Based around the Prince's Tale Chapter of DH.

"What I am supposed to do with all these blues, haunting me everywhere"
-Snape is still haunted by the memory of Lily and how he caused her death; especially now that Harry is at Hogwarts, he is reminded of her on a regular basis


"I didn't mean to fall in love with you"
-Pretty self explanatory, I think

"There's a name for what you put me through"
-She broke his heart when she chose arrogant James over him

"I'm sleeping with the ghost of you and me"
-While this could be misconstrued as a creepy line, it's meant in that Snape still holds onto those happier memories when he and Lily were friends, even though nothing will her change

"The ghost of you and me. When will it set me free?"
-He cannot get over the guilt that he is responsible for her death

"Trying to save what's left of my heart and soul"
-Snape views Lily as the one his heart belongs to. So protecting Harry is the only way that he can show Lily that he still loves her.

Basically, everytime Snape sees Harry, he sees a reminder that Lily chose James, but Snape can't help himself, he still loves Lily and feels the need to protect Harry in order to try and make up for what he caused her.

I love how you made the transition between Young Sev throwing his arm out to stop Young Lily from running off and then fade to Snape throwing his arms out in front of Harry to protect him from the Werewolf Lupin. Steven Strait and Danielle Panabaker work so well for Young Sev and Young Lily that by the time DH comes out, I'm afraid I'll be disappointed if the actor(s) and actress(es) choosen to play them don't look enough like Steven and Danielle.

Snape is cooler then James Potter ever dreamed of being stupid bully, Lily could have had the coolest guy in the whole series and he loved her so much he spent his whole life mourning her and instead she picked Potter, I don't know about anyone else but I think she needed her head exmained.
