@BatmanOneOhOne the bass player paul simoneon grew up in brixton and was a skinhead hence he listened to reggae singer joe strummer had a very eclectic taste in music and his pre clash group the 101ers played their first gig (a benefit) supporting Matumbi they also covered toots and maytals pressure drop and (unsure of originators) revolution rock and armeggedion time

@holitipu Didn't they grow up around Jamaican kids and listening to reggae? It's not like they ever tried to hide the reggae elements in their songs. I prefer Junior's version as well, but there's no denying how cool it is when the one guitar cuts off the other.
