My video explains this. The US is not a nation, and never was; that's Jackson-era propaganda.
The people of each state are the supreme sovereign RULERS of their respective state--- so obviously, THEY decide.

I read what you wrote.
You can't "legislate" an empire, once the states are no longer sovereign, it's IMPLIED.
And that's what Lincoln DID.
-
@SovereignStatesman WTF? Read what I typed closely.
-
@SovereignStatesman No Lincoln conquered the South and altered the structure of Government that is correct but it was the 14th Amendment that sustained for all time what he had created legislating the US into an Empire and hiding it under the guise of "civil rights" which are already protected in the Constitution to all Free Men. The Republicans have always been the imperial party.

This video is missing the MAIN POINT, i.e. that America FIRST became an empire when it suppressed the national sovereignty of the states under Lincoln and Andrew Jackson.
After that, the die was cast; i.e. the Robber Barons usurped total power, bankrupted the US economy, and commenced spreading outward by starting World Wars in an attempt to acquire foreign assets.
Before Lincoln, the states were a check on federal imperialism ala the Hartford Convention; but after Lincoln it was OVER.
-
LINCOLN created the Empire,.
Never forget that.
I was at a coin store today and the owner told a customer, "I think the Euro is going to collapse soon." The guy just stared blankly for a few seconds and said, "Euro?"
Americans generally have no idea what is going on outside the US, so you can't really say the common man/woman in the US WANTED empire, they simply didn't notice as the elites erected it for their own benefit.

The media is too invasive and it's too difficult for politicians to change their mind these days.
Many Republicans agree with Ron Paul's view of closing army bases and reducing military involvement, but until the last 2 years they would have been booted out if they chose to express this view.
I think the public should pressure the existing representatives to change their mind, rather than chastizing them for all their previous soundbites.
