I have the film on dvd. Its a true silent film, no sound and it is phenomenal. Everyone who likes foreign films should watch this. Thank you for sharing this.

Japan was westernized in the 1930's and many citizens wore western clothe. It's that sound films were very late for japan. But they still had thier traditon to like the comfortables robes and the Geishha houses too still which should not be confused with prositution
