The Christmas Revels' Lord of the Dance

The Revels Countdown to the Winter Solstice 2008 ends on December 21st with The Lord of the Dance, one of The Christmas Revels most cherished traditions. The dance begins onstage, just before intermission. When the onstage part of the dance is finished, and with the audience singing along, the dancers leave the stage to take the hand of someone from the audience. Audience members in turn take the hands of other audience members and dance out into the lobby of Sanders Theatre, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
