Fox put on their website concerning this episode: "Is it an unaired episode of season 1, or a alternate universe?"

Most of the filming for this episode took place before season 2.

Here's one more interesting thing. Bell was called Dr. Paris here, which was Leonard Nimoy's character's name in the old Mission Impossible series, The Amazing Paris, master of disguise.

When they filmed season 1, they did 22 episodes, but it was cut back to 20 episodes when they actually aired it. I think because Unearthed doesn't have any Cortexiphan or Other Side references in it they decided to slip it into the middle of season 2. That's what I think anyway. c: Maybe they just did it to confuse the Francis fans?

omg yea i thought i was going crazy, but i downloaded the episodes so i just assumed it was mislabled....but then it still didnt make sense.

im hoping its some crazy twist, this is like a drug.
