@katiejadehuntington Your welcome, sorry about the quality, but the actual dvd disc i have isnt the best, im the same i don't think this film has ever been repeated since the first time i saw it back in the 70,s

Thanks so much for this! It had to have been inspired by the lost crew of the Lady Be Good. The remains of all but one of the crew were found 17 years after crashing in the desert. They were thought to have been lost at sea.

Their courage is an inspiration. May they rest in peace!

Wow! The YouTube treasure chest scores again. I remember seeing this when it first came out on TV or sometime around then. Although I was probably too young at the time to fully comprehend and/or absorb all the drama and finer film making qualities I do remember feeling this was a very haunting piece. Thanks for posting.

BASED ON A LEGEND, ONCE THE LEGEND BECAME A FACT WITH THE FIND IN THE DESERT THE CHOSE NOT TO RUN EITHER PRODUCTION AGAIN.. i KNOW THIS IS A VERY LATE REPLY BUT A GOOD SOURCE FOR THE OBSCURE IS ( T C M ) DOT COM ...AKA TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES THEY SELL A CATALOG EACH YEAR OF OLD TITLES THAT ARE MADE AVAILABLE ON LIMITED RELEASE USUALLY SMALL PRODUCTION RUNS OF DVD FROM 16MM OR 35MM FILM.
