Seriously, all this sounds like to me is an overdubbed version of a kid yelling at a microphone. If you want to call this anything, I'd call it about one of the biggest downfalls in music today. The quality of the sound along with there being no meaning to the song at all really, it loses purpose. Music is an artwork. Use it like a paint brush, not something to annoy people. If you have no meaning or deeper connection with what you sing about, don't sing it.

@TriforceXevad To be honest, I've noticed the whole "genre" going down the shithole, so I've kind of given up on it. There are so few people that actually know how to write a proper song, and so many that think they can download FL Studio and automatically become a musician. I realize I'm not the best out there, so I have no place calling the whole genre out, but it's depressing to see so many people completely butchering it.

@9T9CENTS Listen to Gyarados on my channel. It's really old, but lyrically, that's the kind of songwriting I aim for. The topic of that song was a sort of background story I always portrayed Gyarados having when I was a kid. You may not consider that a meaningful subject for a song, but memories such as that are what fuel my inspiration to create this music.

The only reason I haven't taken Dragonair off my channel is that I like the instrumental track I wrote for it.

@9T9CENTS "Music is an artwork" Exactly. It's open for interpretation. Because it isn't for you, doesn't mean it holds no musical integrity. I personally love his vocals, they aren't the best(a subjective statement) but they're unique and he's expressing emotions. Oh, sounds like art to me.

SDFDM, whoever you are, whoever you're associated with, is good at what they do.

This is quality nintendo-core.

I butchered it myself at least twenty times, but some real help and criticism is needed and wanted.

@TriforceXevad The instrumental itself is written quite well for this song, But the genre is becoming stale as a result of everyone doing the same thing because they all can do it by purchasing a program. I dont care if the chord progression is different it doesnt change the fact that all of the songs have similar structure and similar origin. At least all of this guy's side projects are unique, he didnt completely chain himself to one genre like others have.

@metallvaleeee I am sick of these artists saying nintendocore is dead. jesus christ music is music why would the genre its classified as have anything to do with it? In all honesty I think that people ought to just make music because they have ideas and talent that they want to express, If they dont then they dont. all of the old nintendocore artists that quit because the genre was failing, I think they just decided that they were done, that they had nothing original to bring to the table.
