2008 Leadbelly Memorial: This year will be Sat., Nov. 8, at Noon, at his grave site in Mooringsport, LA (NW of Shreveport, LA a few miles--there's a map to the site posted online, with some folksy directions added in.) Just wanted you to know...hope to see you there! It would be great for you to play "Midnight Special" there. P.S. If it's rainy, the memorial will be moved inside somewhere--probably in the rec center of the Shiloh Baptist Church on site there, right beside the cemetery.

very good but Huddie Leadbelly used B-E-A-D-F#-b tuning i dont know how to use it it's a baritone tuning if anyone wants to know or check and thats why no one sounds like him...
