@yerdadnyermam as long as the strings are in their proper saddles, I can only think of 2 possibilities for you. 1. the string is too loose and needs to be tuned to the proper tension. Or, 2. the guitar needs a setup. The strings are too low, or neck could be bowed or warped (hope not). Look down the neck from the top of the guitar and see if it's flat. Adjust the tension of the rod at the base of the neck. Be careful doing this though. If you have a pricy guitar and have doubts, get a pro

Broke a string filling the stupid "tips". This does not work for Elixir strings!

i just restrung it fine but one of the strings makes a rattling noise as though the string is touching something somewhere?? obviously gonna take it off and start again but anyone know where i went wrong?

Like my guitar is scaring the shit out of me, its my first time restrining it and almost every time i put in a new string and start to tighten it i hear cracking sounds like the string is gona fucking snap and swat me in the face omg T.T lol but ty for the vid helped a bit lol.

I started vegging out and drooling.. then I woke up when I realized I had spent 2 hrs staring at a blank screen..
does anyone else get kind of uncomfortable when you tighten the strings because so much tension builds up? lol
