  • @SenileLeopard Thank you for your question. The performer series begins at a much lower resistance with an emphasis on technique and stamina over strength. The highest resistance of the Performer Series compares to the 2nd level of the Sports & Fitness Series (the yellow BreatheAir). If you are only interested in building strength then you may want to look at the Sports & Fitness series. Please let us know if you have more questions, we are glad to help. 1-800-883-0368

  • I am a semi-professional clarinetist, and I am looking to improve my lung capacity and air support control--I know PowerLung makes different devices for athletes and musicians, but what specifically is the difference between them? Do the athletic models have a higher resistance, or...? I am just trying to find out which model will give me maximum results.

  • @MrBobby13531 Thanks for your question. There's actually 2 options. (1) For Beginners - It is suggested that you conduct your breathing exercises before starting your workout. (2) For Intermediate Users - You can do your breathing exercise between reps. Example: Conduct 1 complete set of reps. using your PowerLung both inhale and exhale. Then, conduct 1 complete set of reps. of your exercise of choice. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

  • Do you breathe in it while doing your workout or only before for a certain period of time?
