The Sands, Dunes, Landmark, and Stardust had very nice unique towers. (and signs)
I'm not saying the Wynn is ugly. It's just way too tall and shiny. It also kinda sticks out.
The old casino towers were all diverse in their own unique way. The newer ones just look like rectangular 'office style' buildings.

yeah the strip was doing fine during the 1960s but come the 1980s (post mob influence) its appeal was gone, atlantic city was kicking its ass, even friggin Reno was catching up quick.

The mighty Stardust just sits there in disbelief at what is happening to the north strip. Frontier and Desert Inn had to go, but the Stardust should have been kept

i was one of the pyro guys that worked on rush hour 2 production crew when it was being filmed there...a shame to see it go.

standing across the street from an implosion of a massive building creates a feeling unlike any other. you can feel it in your body when the charges go off..its intense
