beautiful video--i will ride the EB next year from Chicago to Seattle. I miss the F-40PH but the Metra commuter trains in Chgo still runs them. I purchased 2 Kato F-40PH's and plan on getting 2 more for my planned future Amtrak train project. The Genesis locomotives are nice and more powerful than the F units but its the F-40PH's that stayed in my heart.

I'm with you ryan, I miss the F40PH's myself !!! It's hard 2 look up at them now that they been converted the "N.PC.U.'s". The Genesis are A.O.K. but they'll never take the place of the F40PH's !!!

I rode the empire builder once.. it was pretty fricken cool.. boarded in st cloud mn at 2 am and was in east glacier park Montana 20 hrs later.. awesome scenery !!!
