Magdalena Kožená sings the last four movements of Bach's cantata for solo soprano "Mein Herze schwimmt im Blut" (BWV 199), culminating in the aria "Wie freudig ist mein Herz." David Watkin is the cello soloist in the chorale "Ich, dein betrübtes Kind." John Eliot Gardiner conducts the English Baroque Soloists while the Monteverdi Choir takes a breather. The venue is St. David's Cathedral, Pembrokeshire, Wales, September 2000.

  • SIr(s): If I may, at this Date and Time, state here and attest to the full how this dear Voice in the German Language so expressedly deals with the vocal scale that, as in My Recent Reading of "The Tomb of Tutankhamen: The Annexe and Treasury," by Mr. Howard CARTER, she raises Wondrous Things of Historical Import Beyond Compare. --J.D., "LeJean" SATX 78202 U. • @BuzzzT06 ...opera? lol

  • Beauty exists in a description of a vase, or in a face, in specific forms – and not as a form in itself.

  • Sir(s): With Pleasure & Utter Joy, if I may, I wish to send the Very Best of Regards & My Compliments to Norway Upon the Date & Time of the Seventeenth of May 2010. Upon the Tongue and Voice of such a Regal Lady, Here standing before All, I would hope to toast Ye All & Greaten Your Cheer. Godspeed.
