No one thinks Edison "invented" electricity. War crimes and atrocities happen in all wars. All ILLEGAL war crimes that have been cunducted by Americans have always been condemned and prosecuted if caught. Compare that to Germany. OUR ridiculous military has saved EUROPE. The atomic bombs were used to end a EUROPEAN (not American provoked) caused conflict and there is a very healthy argument that it saved lives. You hate US for OUR healthcare?  You guys are really reaching.

@BygmesterFinnegan our life expectancy is actually pretty good. and our education system isnt the best but its a fact that many of the best colleges in the world are in the US. and our healthcare system is pretty bad. but how the hell is that a reason to hate a people? the government by the way is not a person or one group. its hundreds of people with different views on the way we do things. there mission isnt to destroy the US. Obama i think is trying his best to clean up what GB left behind.

Note that americans have a higher frequense of war while their inventions were mostly modern warmachines named after stuff that Will look cool in movies. Whilst europes inventions where the ones that made american invention possible. Also every war that whas pointed out where infested with manslaughter of innocents to protect their strategic interests.

@eagle8341 I'm actually pretty sure most Europeans get it. It's just that there's a very vocal minority that's very passionate about showing how much they hate us. Europe is our largest trade partner (granted, they benefit more from trading with us than we from them) and includes some of our closest allies. Don't let a couple of stuck-up, bigoted, ignorant, snot-nosed, immature, self-inflating, dim-witted assholes make you think all Europeans hate America.

And no, I'm not suggesting that all Norwegians are rabid supremacists--on the contrary, I'm sure most of them are courteous, tolerant, and civilized. Which goes to prove my point: you can't make hasty generalizations just to justify your hatred toward a people. We're all just tryin' to get by.
