It is symbolic that spelling it out can "destroy" the name of G-d. Like if you write it on a piece of paper and then erase it or crumble the paper then you are destroying his name, so we write it in a way that if the paper or whatever is destroyed its not destroying his name

the first time i saw the wall ..gave me this feeling and I cried with 40 people and later went back and received my buret and my wings at the wall and this song gives me that feeling of importance and duty and meaning in this world!!!!
