Nice to see a Soo engine still in Soo paint. Yep, even fire trucks have to stop for trains. I know an EMT who said he was in a ambulance that was almost struck by a train because the driver thought the ambulance should have right-of-way. Physics, anyone?

I like emergency vehicles also, check out my videos, train horn vs police car siren, train horn vs ambulance siren, and fire truck siren vs train horn.

@Flipperpat11 Oh, yes it does. It runs from ND through MN, WI, MI (Upper Peninsula only), IL, and parts of IN. It's Canadian Pacific Railway-owned and a very small railroad, but still in existence, and still rolling past my house near this spot every single day.

@Flipperpat11 No worries. I got close-up to some SOO GP38-2's today and under the engine number on the sides was painted "Proud to be a part of CP Rail System."

@staintedcards We just had a town hall meeting about the issue. All options are being considered, but it looks like a new firehouse may be built just south of the tracks (where the fire engine heads at the end) to take calls from that area and prevent train hold-ups.
