@WrathofWotan Interesting you mention that, there was a book once that mentioned that the reason they came, was due to the atomic explosions. I have no idea whether its actually true. But its something that gives me pause.

BTW, if memory serves, the 509th Composite Group which was stationed at Roswell in 1947 is the same B-29 squadron which dropped atomic bombs on Japan 2 years earlier. Coincidence??
