Did the cops/organizers say not top speed runs on the runway? I'd love that but with so many bikes it probably wasn't safe.

There were not any cops on the actual runway only on the public roads. The runway is A LOT bigger in person and there were several people going well above the dictated speed limit. With both runways combined its over 4 miles of pavement so there is plenty of room and no one was hurt

There was actually a very heavy police presence they were mostly on bikes with police cars and SUVs scattered throughout the road blocks.
