This is our trip to the beach of Pascagoula,MS, 2 months after Hurricane Katrina hit. In the middle of film you will see a house roof with no walls. I thought that was awesome to see.

  • dude u now a family with a kid named bobby. or do u no Donny Murray[hes my uncle] maybe u no EJ murray[grandpa] or my dad chris murray if ya do tell me. my dad lived on dogwood right belair and only had 2ft of water guess he got lucky but now we're moved to DC god i'll miss beach blvd.

  • No, sorry I dont know them. My mom in law lived in Pascagoula so I dont know anybody there except for a couple of her family.

  • We took the same ride down the beach one week after Katrina, it was so amazing to see all those houses gone, I remember those houses when I was a little girl, and they were gone just like that. All we saw were people outside, some crying, some looked as if they were still in shock, now were facing another storm (Gustav), keep us in your prayers.

  • Yes, we need to pray that this storm doesn't do like Katrina did. Looks like its following her footsteps.I am so glad they are giving everyone a big headstart by leaving allready. I think they learned the lesson from Katrina. My mom in law lives about 2-3 miles inland and she is watching to see where the storm goes. I hope it doesn't flood again. That will be really bad since a lot of them rebuilt. We live in S.C and we have family and friends in South Mississippi.Lord protect them all.

  • That is great Sealion1962 that you are back in your house. Thanks God for Christian people who dont mind helping people in need. You cant depend on the government lately. The gov. rather help the illegals out than us born and raised, tax paying Americans.

  • the USA let mississippi down. all attention was given to new orleans. if it wasnt for christians coming here and helping us rebuild we would have nothing.

  • Yes,Mississippi got hit very hard too. My mom in law lived 2 miles inland in Pascagoula and she had 4 ft of water in her house. She has fixed house up and moved back in it. You see a lot of empty lots cause they got washed away and only the big houses are still standing.I had chills going down me when I was filming this.

  • @dw8910 The US Government only catered to New Orleans because it is a "chocolate city"....

  • 4 years later and mississippi is looking better than ever. i was at home durring the storm. i only live about a mie away from the gulf and we had 3 to 4 feet of water. i remember telling my dad that the water was on the first step, by the time he got out of his chair the water was on the top step. thats how fast the water had risen. now every year on Augest 29 me and my family go riding down beach blvd to see that everything is gonna be okay. there was alot of damage.
