A pair of ES44AC engines lead a IAIS detour on the Canadian Pacific's Chicago sub. The detour is due to the recent train derailment near Tiskilwa, Illinois.

Uploaded this video first this day due to the timely subject.

Some nice golden hour light. But I wasn't paying enough attention the creeping shadow of the grain elevator and it almost ruined the shot.

  • Such a fantastic afternoon. Glad to see you caught this guy Bill.

  • @WC7495 Yep, me too. Some guys speculated there would be many more detours. As far as I know, this was the only one. Thanks.

  • @basicbill1 There were a couple, but this is the only one that ran during daylight to my knowledge.

  • @WC7495 OK, that makes sense.

  • Damn man, this is absolutely awesome! What kind of camera(s) do you use?

  • @WhiskeyCentral Thanks much. Canon HF S200 and HF S100 are the cameras.
