  • the more dead you leave us the more warriors we recruit. The Sas like Paisley before them are the best recruitment officers of the IRA. Thank you ;0))

  • you are all missing the point. the British state that the SAS are only used in wartime. They continually deny they used the SAS in the WAR in Ireland and that it is an internal conflict. Irish men and women knew the risk and accepted said risk when they joijned the fight. to claim otherwise belittles their sacrifice. How can the British claim it was not a war when they used their special forces to fight it. And the executions of combatants while they where already in custody .......

  • @leady73 What is your point? To not be worried about them would mean you are ignorant of THEIR intentions and training. Scared....? Maybe, but the IRA don't seem like much scares them to me, or they wouldn't have been taking on the struggle they have taken on. Are you man enough to put your life on the line against forces better trained and out gunning you? If not, you should probably be quiet about what scares who.

  • They were good but not good enough.

  • august 2007 british army states: we cannot beat the IRA a political solution must be found.

  • @jackiebaron

14 Int done that very well for 20 years in N/Ireland m8 and the SAS worked very closly with these guys-have read that 14 int was in the same League as the Isreali Mossad for thier survallance skills so that statement has no substance,as for Urban combat have you ever heard of the SAS "killing House" I dont think you know how well trained these guys realy are

  • @toughload

And what you missed out about Belfast Angelo fusco siege fiasco is that the SAS was given the wrong address for where the PIRA ASU was located and stormed the wrong house ,hense why Willcott got shot ,proving my earlier point once these brave IRA men realised the SAS where coming for them they shit themselves and surrendered as soon as they could to the army without putting up a further fight ,over a 30 year long period every dog will have its day

  • @toughload

Francis Hughes got lucky, very lucky-the SAS thought these two guys where UDR soldiers, catching them off guard and exposing themselves-without the trickery one on one do you realy think he would of stood half a chance against these men

  • @toughload Talk more shite why dont you, the sas are trained and can deal with any situation, trained to survive in any place on earth, can fight in jungle to deserts, are the top 1% of the fittest people on the planet

The ira used there own rules, they where joe bloggs one minute, and the ira the next, they where the ones who where shit bags, the ira are just normal men who can pull a trigger, lets see them go and fight and survive and fight somone lese war on the other side of the world
