  • Sad thing about this story is, the fish died. I guess he was too stubborn and anxious to take all those pictures, thats why!

  • i can't understand why someone would eat a bass that is over 8 pounds, they would be big but you don't any of the meat from there stomach :/

  • @doua86 no, big fish can die from the fight, not because he was too busy taking pictures!

  • WTF

  • @samsoninthepit its not a tie, eventually if its a fresh bass it holds the top record, regardless if its the same weight. example, if you just caught another bass after the guy, and it weighs the same, YOU hold the top record.

  • Dotty was bigger but was hooked just outside the mouth..

  • can you imagine a smallmouth bass that BIG???

the lake behind my house is a private one and the bass are huge, but rarely get caught because the have a unlimited supply of bluegill they eat. Sure enough we start using bluegill under a huge bobber and started to pull bigger and bigger bass.

    Catch N Release!

  • good eatin..

  • he weighied it on his boat when he caught it! its only 22.4

  • thats a nice fish haa
