yo, when I record, my mic is all loud and shit, is it cuz I'm recording in a room? well I've recorded in this room before and this shit never happened, but then I had to re install cool edit pro and now it's making my mic all loud and distorted, I have tried turning down the volume of the mic but it's still loud as hell

When i record in my cool edit for some reason it records the beat and all pretty much every sound thats playing and it be in my vocals like if i solo the vocal track the beat is recording on that as well if you can help me make a video or tell me whats wrong thanks
