And the best military in the world with troops stationed at intervals of an inch across their country would not be able to stop bombing attacks, that's why people use the bombing tactic-because it works and is hard to uncover in most cases. No political/militia groups/ terrorists have captured any Brit or building in Britain for the purpose of furthering their goals or to make demands, SINCE this raid.

Wiki "list of terrorist attacking in London" A strong military is a good thing, we have a similar tradition in the United States. But the military does little to prevent terrorism. It is the wrong hammer for that nail.
