@MYITIZM No idea, I wasn't aware Adobe event made a portable version of this application....but I'm assuming it does the same.

@MYITIZM I think portables are just hacked versions. But it's worth it when you have premiere.

how much does adobe premier cost?

I use Camtasia Studio 6 for my tutorials. It's not free but it's the best screen capture software I have ever used. See one of my recent videos called "How to screen capture" for details.

Premiere has always been a little picky when it came to different files to import. Usually AVI is the safe standard and has always imported for me....if it's giving you trouble, you may not have a codec for the program. I believe you can get these at the Adobe website.

I'm using cs4 but I none of my vid file types are excepted .mov .avi nothing!
