I've got the stock cv carb jetted and I've got hotcam's stage 1 yoshi Rs2 yoshi remapped comp an I can pop them in 3r with my pal the clutch..
Nice wheelie man!!

@Tango965 try compressing the front suspension while running 3. or 4. gear , midrange rpm.. then while standing up lean back and trottle hard :) i pop wheelies in 4th gear with my stock drz without any problem, but it was hard at first... like you said, only in first and second gear. You should do just fine with a little practice ;) (tip: one knee on the seat, will make the bike angle and not your body so it feels safer and easier.. looks cool also:)

@Tango965 Im sure this guy has been riding a long time with many years of motocross and trail experience. I can shift gears on my stock DRZ and it whellies no problem in second with a little body input and clutch. But i also have been riding 10 years or so and ride dirt bikes which always helps you become a better rider.

better on one wheel than two

The guy in front of you seemed kind of careless... You shouldn't be slowing down in front of someone doing a wheelie IMO.

@eyewannagofast am i doing it wrong? coz i can only pop the front up on 1st gear. 2nd gear seems difficult. anymore tips? maybe im not revving enough rpm?
-
are u doing wheelies standing up or sitting on your bike? do u shift gears during the wheelie?

@FrantaHl that song, Rob Zombie - Living dead girl

great story awfull end haha! Man u have balls made of still, and this wheelie is a f!@#ing orgasm
do you have an FCR? how do you get it to pop up like that? there is no way that bike has the stock CV carb

@taylorcwest Actually it is 100% stock carb,, everything except handlebars & handguards nothing done to engine not even geared. Also i'm in NM 5,000 ft above sea level so my bike is even less powerful then @ sea level. 2nd gear dump the clutch and lean back,, learn ur balance point & back brake. Lend me your bike and I will show you it's done with any stock DRZ

Nice one! You worry about starving the engine from oil?
huskybusa 2 years ago
Hell yea,,,All my oil ended up on the left side of my tire and helped me make a left turn to the ground!!
