To have researched all these wonderful videos and articles and books must involve loads of time energy and money .You are a wonderfully kind ,incredibly honest and generous person.I hope you make more money than you make now for i know a person like you will donate most of it for a good cause anyway.I am lucky to have graced your presence through the net .Thank you for the incredible insight on life you brought into this old framework of mine.May the Great Spirit walk with you.

This is from Ben's site on the service page.
Quote" I offer the following services for a sliding-scale donation of $25-$100:" Unless this is monopoly money he seems to be charging.
I am looking forward to getting your book. I am unfortunately on a very low income due to this apparent body running out of warranty and in need of a full service and overhaul so my wife makes sure that I save and pay cash for everything.
I will forgo my weekly cappuccino coffee until I have the money.
Hi there
I've recently bought your book and am more than happy to have paid.
I think it does engender the feeling of personnel investment with something.
You engage energy.
We all need to make our way in the world.

@caycey Thank you for your thoughtful and kind words. As fantastic and incredible as the internet is, as much of an economy it helps to build, it destroys as well. Thank you for your support.

I know where you are coming from - I develop software for free and one of my pieces of software has had over 250,000 downloads in two years - so far I have had around $100 of donations!
People do need to understand that if people like me did not make money, somehow, they would not have the free software - as we would be out on the streets...
This is why like you I make donations too - I think your idea of reciprocity is very noble and makes a lot of sense too.

@jagara1 Thank you for your understanding. I think we all love the web. It has brought incredible value into our lives. But it has come at a very large cost: the expectation that everything 'should' be free and if it's not free then I will ignore it, because there is so much alternative content out there that is free. Thus the death of bookstores, newspapers, new music, etc.
