do the graphics stay the same as the ps2 version when you play the ps2 version on ps3?

He is playing the PS3 version of Rock Band, but the drum set, guitar, and microphone are the same for both the PS2 and PS3. The PS3 version is much better, IMO.

ohh.. did you consider getting a 360? i don't know what one to get for my birthday... ps3 or 360.. haha, i totally changed the subject.. sorry :)

We're Play Station people, lol. If we had gone with the Xbox, none of our old games or peripherals would have been compatible, and we just weren't prepared to switch everything over. For us the PS3 was the most practical upgrade.
I am bummed that the PS3 Guitar Hero controller doesn't work with the PS3 version of Rock Band, though. That SUCKS!
