Jehovahs witnesses do NOT believe in the resurrection of Jesus. They DO believe a spirit was created on the 3rd day and Jesus information was put into the new spirit. This is perhaps their biggest hoax. No resurrection took place, they do not believe Jesus had a spirit within him when he was on earth, so what was resurrected? nothing.

  • It seems he was a spirit when he appeared to Magdelene.

    Noli me tangere.

Yet when he appeared to Thomas he showed himself to be flesh.

  • Hi Ozzy. Mary didnt recognise Jesus not because he was a spirit but because it was still dark when she arrived there,

John 20vs1: Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb .."

She had tears in her eyes (blurred vision?) verse 15"Woman," he said, "why are you crying?

and Scripture indicates she hadnt yet turned fully around to look at him, when she did she recognised him:

Vers 16: She turned toward him and cried "Rabboni!

  • Another one that makes it impossible for Trinitarians.

His disciples had questions JESUS COULD NOT ANSWER.

""When, now, they had assembled, they went asking him: “Lord, are you restoring the kingdom to Israel at this time?" He said to them: “It does not belong to you to get knowledge of the times or seasons which the Father has placed in his own jurisdiction.""

Why was the answer to that question NOT IN THE JURISDICTION OF THE SON ??

Earlier Jesus admitted the same re "the hour and the day".

  • This prophecy is impossible for Trinitarians:

"And there must go forth a twig out of the stump of Jesse; and out of his roots a sprout will be fruitful. And upon him the spirit of Jehovah must settle down, the spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the spirit of counsel and of mightiness, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah; and there will be enjoyment by him in the fear of Jehovah."

    FEAR OF JEHOVAH???

This is a Messianic prophecy ABOUT JESUS !

Yep, the Son FEARS the Father.

  • @customanalogue Well, than can you please explain something? Was it Michael the Archangel that was "re-created"? If so why don't the bible just say Michael was the ransom instead of Jesus? And lastly, is Jesus not a man in heaven anymore?

  • @TheNereida42 Wait, so what is exactly is a "spirit"? Is it something living or does it just the "life force" of people?

  • A classic instance of:

"Jehovah's Witnesses believe" - then add whatever you like, common recipe' - except that is NOT what Jehovah's Witnesses believe at all.

So WHAT is really being accomplished? What is really the purpose?

Very sneaky, you make people believe that Jehovah's Winesses ACTUALLY believe this. Oh, what crazy people.

This what "Devil" means: SLANDERER, and THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE DOING!

But wait, there's a knock on the door: "Do you really believe..."

    Thanks for the intro. LOL

  • @TheNereida42

    Thank you.

Jesus used resurrection and recreation interchangeably.

Compare Mat 19:28 and Mat 25 - "Truly I say to YOU, In the re-creation, when the Son of man sits down upon his glorious throne, YOU who have followed me will also yourselves sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."

So if you believe in the resurrection, then you also believe in the re-creation. They are the same thing.

Hence the video is a MIS-representation of what JWs believe.

  • She doesn't understand the shades of meaning of the word "spirit" - even in English it can mean many things. Each meaning is based on context - in Thomas' case Jesus was saying he was not an apparition, so "touch me."

We need to have a more, how can I say it, sophisticated understanding.

I must say, I stopped the video when she started praying.

BTW, some people present themselves as former witnesses, yet there is actually no way to confirm this. There are times when I really do wonder.

  • anyone that talks against jehovah's are making a huge mistake...they do believe in the resurrection, and do believe in the holy spirit, jesus was resurrected in spirit, just as he was before coming to earth to serve his purpose...talkin about these people like that make you yourselves more confuse...I believe they are clear in what they teach and preach.
